Deaf people have now the possibility to feel music

Deaf people have now the possibility to feel music and may even cheer up concerts for people who don’t have hearing problems. Engineers at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada, came up with their latest invention – a chair that can translate music into tangible sensations. Vibrating-Chair

The latest invention of Canadian engineers converts the sound of different musical instruments or notes into motion at different intensities, reports NewScientist.

The chair features vibrating coils that are installed throughout the device in order to transfer sensations to the skin. Depending on the type of music, the chair can also blast air and produce rocking motions.

Recently the invention was presented in Toronto, where engineers showed how the device works.
